The first and important thing to do is to find out if you truly have ptosis. Go in front of the mirror and examine the look of your bust and the positioning of your nipples.

Take note of the inframammary fold which is situated under the breast then place a pencil on it. This stage of ptosis is considered to be mild or in grade two condition. Safety Measures Following a Breast Uplift Operation

There are certain safety measures that must be followed after a breast uplift surgery, also known as mastopexy, for this will help a patient heal faster and obtain a satisfying result. For instance, after the procedure is done, patients will be asked to take a full bed rest. The following day, any signs of draining will be removed but you will be asked to get up and be mobile again. A calf stimulator will be placed on your legs the entire night to massage your calves so that blood clots will be avoided and to keep your body’s blood supply in normal state.

Patients are typically permitted to go home a day or two following the operation. While having a full rest away from the hospital, doing excessive or tiring activities such as driving or household chores is strictly prohibited. This is because bending down or getting tired days after a breast uplift operation will most likely lead to your blood pressure going up and will also delay the process of healing.

Another hospital appointment is needed two weeks after the surgery in order to change the wound’s dressing. The Micropore tape used to cover the incision following the breast uplift procedure will be removed and then a new one will be placed to protect the wound from getting infected. Moreover, for the next six weeks, you will need to use the medical bra as this will preserve the scar’s condition. No Food and Liquid Intake

Stop Smoking

Avoid Using Ointments
